Sina Ritter

Sina Ritter is an award-winning underwater artist, passionate ocean expedition leader, and dedicated conservation storyteller. Growing up in the countryside of landlocked Germany, she always yearned for the mystery of the water. Now, having made the ocean her number one priority, she lives life as an oceanic nomad exploring the hidden treasures she used to dream of as a child.

Her travels not only allow her to connect people from all corners of the world with the soft side of raw wilderness but also to continuously document the similarities and differences of various marine environments. Sina’s work is driven by her vision to bring the magic of the deep blue to the surface and raise awareness for the ocean’s most beautiful feature: its ability to sustain all life on Earth. Her images and videos are continuously transporting people to places they may never see firsthand and showcase the interconnectedness of everything on our planet. Additionally, Sina´s expeditions are designed to connect people of all levels of ocean experience with the ocean, offering personal and intimate experiences. Sina strongly believes in meaningful connections that develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the ocean, fostering a commitment to its preservation. Through her visuals and expeditions, Sina aims to ignite a sense of awareness, care, and action.

Over the years, she has exclusively used natural light in her photography, but she is now looking to incorporate advanced dive lighting to enhance the quality and impact of her images and videos.
